
Heat Treatment Furnaces for Steel, Aluminum, and Copper
Heat treatment furnaces are primarily designed for the heat treatment technology of various steels and other metals. They can be chamber-type, car-bottom, bell-type, pit-type, or other special structural designs, including melting metals. The heat treatment can take place in an atmospheric, protective gas, or vacuum furnace. The instrumentation is adapted to the technology, for example, providing a computer connection for data storage purposes.
Options, Special Solutions:
- To ensure uniform temperature throughout the space, a fan that provides internal air circulation can be installed.
- Manually or motor-operated dampers (according to the program of the temperature control instrument) can be installed to ventilate the furnace space.
- Ventilation through a noble metal catalyst afterburner, which neutralizes more than 90% of the environmental polluting vapors and gases. We can also retrofit existing equipment with a catalytic afterburner.
- Installation of a computer connection option for temperature control instruments (temperature, time, upper protection, catalyst temperature, fan, protective gas, error signals, etc.) for data storage purposes throughout the entire operational period. This solution meets the majority of quality assurance requirements.
- Protective gas version, which can be either chamber-type or retort-type, with the application of various protective gases, including nitriding.
- For ease of operation, in addition to the programming options of the temperature control instrument, a program selector switch with 7 program settings is installed next to the instrument. A complete heating program can be defined for each setting according to the technological requirements. The operator only needs to select the prescribed program and press the START button. This eliminates the use of incorrect heating diagrams, ensuring a safe temperature profile in compliance with quality assurance regulations.
- Temperature control with the HAGA KD 9 type program controller, which regulates via solid-state relays using a so-called cascade control method, ensuring high precision in maintaining the temperature in the furnace while measuring the temperature with 4 thermocouples. The instrument and thermocouples can be supplied with calibration from the manufacturer, including calibration at the customer's site.
- We provide training for operators on furnace operation. We also provide all the necessary documentation for furnace operation and commissioning along with the furnace.
- Our furnaces comply with all applicable standards and regulations, are CE certified, and meet the requirements for quality assurance.
